Welcome to Prism City

Prism City, colloquially known as the Zero-Nine, is a futuristic marvel of steel, glass and neon. Glowing holographic advertisements hang in thin air, screaming wares, services and more to the public, while sleek vehicles glide up and down the streets, surrounded by throngs of people bustling about at all hours of the day. Hole in the wall stores and food stalls are dotted here and there, offering quick supplies and meals to passers-by. The populace is comprised of all kinds of xenotypes - humans, elves, dwarves, pixies, and more all mingle together, while powerful corporations rule from on high. The city is a utopia of wealth, beauty and plenty, but like any other city, hides a gritty underbelly. The lower class zones on the outskirts of the Zero-Nine is an entirely different story. Leaving the city behind, the inspiring architecture, brightly lit streets and tall, dominating skyscrapers quickly give way to smaller buildings. Here, you won't find many high-rise apartment buildings, and, if you do, they cost a fortune. Most people live in housing tenements, apartment blocks or older style houses. The glow of holograms and neon advertisements are much more prominent here where the streets are wider and darker, the various effigies bathing the world in pinks, blues and purples.
